Vietnam visa for US citizens

In order to enter Vietnam, US nationals must obtain a Vietnam visa. Vietnam visas can be obtained through the Vietnam embassy, e-Visa Vietnam, or visa on arrival.

 

To obtain a visa for Vietnam, you must:

- Original passport (valid for at least six months)

Two passport-sized (4 x 6 cm) pictures


1. Obtain a Vietnam e-Visa:

To apply for a visa online, please visit the government website at https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn.

Alternately, you can email visavietnam3@gmail.com a 4 x 6 cm photo and a scan of your passport. Within one to two days, we will email you the e-visa letter.


2. Apply for a Vietnam visa at the Embassy:
