Vietnam visa for Laos

If you have a Lao passport and plan to visit Vietnam for less than 30 days, you do not need to apply for a Vietnam visa. A Vietnam visa is necessary if you intend to remain in Vietnam for longer than this period.

There are two methods for Laotians to obtain a Vietnam visa.

To obtain a visa for Vietnam, you must:

- Original passport (valid for at least six months)

Two passport-sized (4 x 6 cm) pictures
