Vietnam visa for Irish
Irish nationals must have a visa in order to enter Vietnam. You can apply for a Vietnam visa online or in person at the Vietnamese embassy in your nation.
To obtain a visa for Vietnam, you must:
- Original passport (valid for at least six months)
- Two passport-sized (4 x 6 cm) pictures
Visa type:
30 days, 90 days Vietnam electronic Visa are available.
Since there isn't a Vietnam embassy in Ireland, you must apply for a Vietnam visa by contacting the embassy in the United Kingdom, which is a nearby country.

To apply for a visa online, please visit the government website at https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn.
Alternatively, you can email info@GoVietnamVisa.org with a 4 x 6 cm photo and a scan of your passport. Within one to two days, we will email you the e-visa letter.

You will receive an email confirming your visa clearance after two working days for regular processing, or less time in an emergency.
To have your Vietnam visa stamped at one of the country's international airports, bring your passport (it must be valid for at least six months), your visa approval letter, two passport-size pictures
